New Baby Announcement

Susan's adorable decorated Surface is just right for announcing the birth of your new little one. A mixture of light blues and pinks make this announcement perfect for any baby!

Supplies:

• Sara's Surfaces™ Matchbook Pockets
• Baby 8"x8" Papers
• Cardmaker's Pretty Ribbons
• white heart brads
• light blue chalk
• corner rounder punch
• glue stick

Instructions:
For Front Cover:

1. Cut a 4 3/4"x4 1/8" piece of baby words paper. Punch both bottom corners to round, then chalk the edges of the paper.
2. Mat a 2 3/4"x2" photo on light green paper, trimming the mat to 1/8". Chalk the edges, then glue the photo in the top left corner of the words paper.
3. Tie a bow out of pink sheer ribbon, then attach the bow in the bottom left corner of the photo with a heart brad. Glue the paper to the pocket's front cover.

For the Panels (on left):

1. Chalk the edges of a 3 1/4" square of baby words paper. Cut the square in half, then glue one half to each panel, meeting in the middle.

For the Inside (on right):

1. Cut a 4 3/4" square of light blue paper, including the block border along one edge. With the border at the bottom, computer journal an announcement on the light blue portion, leaving a 3/4" space in the center. Chalk the edges of the paper.
2. Wrap pink sheer ribbon around the paper, centered in the 3/4" space. Use a heart brad to attach a knot of ribbon centered on the length. Glue the paper to the pocket inside.
