Silk Flowers Sampler

Silk flowers are hot. They add color, texture and dimension to your paper crafts, and they're so easy to add to any project. Want to add a little personality to your flowers? Read on for quick and easy altering techniques!

Inked Daisy

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Place a large yellow flower on a work surface. Lightly tap an ink pad over the surface of the flower.
  2. Hold an orange big brad by the prongs and sand around the edges. Insert the brad in the center of the silk flower.

Stamped Bloom

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Place a large lavender flower on a work surface. Ink the Old French stamp, then press the stamp onto the flower, remove and let dry.
  2. Punch a 3/4" circle of lavender paper and ink the edges. Glue the circle to the top of a white big brad. Insert the brad in the center of the silk flower.

Layered Flowers

Instructions:

  1. Place a small blue flower on a work surface. Ink the Old French stamp, then press the stamp onto the flower, remove and let dry.
  2. Place the stamped flower in the center of a large blue flower, then insert a white embossed brad through both layers.
