You Are So Thoughtful

Designer LeNae Gerig sends heartfelt greetings with handmade cards like this. The classic black and white theme is timeless and incredibly versatile—perfect for any friend—man or woman.

The Card Front:
LeNae covered the card front with gray linen paper and trimmed the sides even with the card edges. She cut a 4” x 5” rectangle of gray clock paper and matted it on two sides with black glimmer paper as shown. LeNae glued the clock paper to the upper left side of the card and inserted eyelets in the top and bottom right and bottom left corners.

For the focal, LeNae cut out the quote and matted it on black glimmer paper, then mounted it to the card front with foam tape. She cut out the tags and placed a brad through the tops of them, then glued them to the card. LeNae added a bow of gingham ribbon to the top of the card quote using a Glue Dot™.

The Inside:
LeNae cut 1 1/2” strips of linen paper and glued them to the top and bottom inside of the card. She cut a 3 1/2” of strip of clock paper and glued it to the center, overlapping the edges of the linen paper. LeNae cropped and matted the card quote on black glimmer paper, then glued it to the inside of the card.
