Instructions:

  1. Seal the pot and saucers with liquid sealer; let dry. Place a quarter-sized piece of masking tape at the center bottom of the 6” saucer. Glue the bottom of the 5” saucer to the bottom center of the 6” saucer.
  2. 1Follow the manufacturer’s directions to apply the crackle medium. Use the paintbrush to apply the medium to the sides of the pot, the saucers and the inside of the 6” saucer; let dry. Rinse the paintbrush and apply red paint over the dried medium; let dry. Paint the inside of the pot and let dry.
  3. After the crackling process has finished, moisten the sponge and use it to apply gold paint to the rim of the pot and the 6” saucer; let dry. Remove the masking tape from the center of the saucer and seal the terra cotta pieces. Glue the pot to the center of the 6” wide saucer, over the unpainted area and let dry. Place potpourri in the saucer around the pot and place the candle in the pot.
