Supplies
- Grape Leaf Corner rubber stamp chalk inks:
- Spanish Sand
- Brushed Sage
- Evergreen
- green pigment ink
- white acrylic paint
- liquid acrylic all-purpose sealer
- liquid clear gloss varnish
- 4 1/2" x 4" terra cotta pot
- 15 1/2" x 1" strip of green burlap with frayed edges
- 16mm green rectangle acrylic rhinestone
- 20" length of thin metallic gold cord
- 20" length of metallic green embroidery floss
- 1" wide foam brush
- stipple brush
- tacky craft glue
- low temperature glue gun, glue sticks
- embossing heat tool
Instructions
- Apply sealer to the pot and let dry. Use the foam brush to paint the inside and outside of the pot white and let dry
- Stamp Grape Leaf Corner with a combination of chalk inks randomly on the outside of the pot.
Stipple
green ink
along the bottom and top edges of the pot.
Heat set
the pot outside, then immediately spray it wth varnish and lightly brush
it for a blended effect; let dry.
- Glue the burlap piece and wrap it around the pot rim.
- Wrap the gold cord and floss together around the rim several times and knot to secure. Trim the tails to 2"-3". Glue the rhinestone
over the knot.
